The Project was tendered out in the category of Environmental & Heritage Services on the Marketplace. MVPH collaborated with Evolve Environmental Solutions and led the initial phase of the project.
MVPH demolished the rock-lined channel and terraced retaining walls, carried out the bulk earthworks to form 800m of the man-made meandering creek, constructed 600m of 2.4m wide concrete shared path, imported and placed 6300m3 of select fill, along with 1300m3 of topsoil for the retaining wall rehabilitation work.
MVPH also carried out all the auxiliary drainage, concreting, slope protection and boulder work, all under the watchful eyes of Evolve Environmental Solutions to ensure all these works were carried out with the minimal impact to the environment and creek health.
