This project is for the replacement of the existing culvert with new precast box culvert at its original location. The work was carried out under the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries Accepted Development requirements for operational work of a purple waterway. The replaced Reedbed Road Culvert which was in a poor structural condition, is seven-cell reinforced concrete culvert each 2100mm wide by 1200mm high over Lagoon Creek.
The project entails, environmental controls, traffic management, demolish the old structure, cast in-situ culvert base slab, new culvert structure to design and fish passage requirements, asphalt overlay, dismantle the side track and restore the site.
