This project is GRC’s response to a 2019 Road Safety Audit that will increase driver sight distance in vicinity of an existing hazards on the road. A “rural roads” project that incorporates pavement and drainage works (inclusive of culvert installation), concrete causeway construction, landscaping and signage.
Noting that significant cuts (approx. 6,000m3) are required to achieve the vertical realignment necessary to improve driver safety, the disposal of excess material/spoil from the site is a significant feature of the works.
